The Vasculitis Patient-Powered Research Network
ANCA Vasculitis New Zealand is partnering with the Vasculitis Patient-Powered Research Network (VPPRN)
The VPPRN is an international patient based research programme
We encourage patients and caregivers in New Zealand and elsewhere to join the VPPRN, and contribute to work understanding vasculitis better – and improving patient outcomes
You can join the VPPRN if you are one of the following:
You are a patient with vasculitis
You are the parent of a child with vasculitis
You are the caregiver of an adult patient with vasculitis
You will also need regular access to the Internet and you are comfortable reading English.
If you meet the criteria above, fantastic! The VPPRN needs you!

Learn how the VPPRN is bringing patients, caregivers, clinicians, and researchers together to advance vasculitis research around the world. In this presentation, Dr. Peter Merkel and Dr. Jennifer Gordon explain how the VPPRN works, how patients can participate in research from home, and how patient-reported experiences are helping researchers better understand vasculitis, treatment, quality of life, and more. They also highlight current and upcoming VPPRN studies and answer questions about getting involved. Discover how sharing your experience can help shape the future of vasculitis research.
